Andre Ayew unshaken despite defeats

Ghana international winger Andre Ayew has insisted Olympique Marseille have not lost focus despite their successive defeats in their last two games.

The Olympians slipped to another defeat against Stade Rennes in the Coupe de la Ligue after losing against Olympique Lyon in the Ligue 1.

“We will have to quickly fight back and win games. Rennes were a team to beat and we did well in the first-half,” he said.

Andre was handed the Marseille captaincy for the game and he assisted their opener but Rennes fought strongly to equalise and eventually win the tie.

Marseille play against Lens in the Ligue 1 before facing PSG – a game Ayew will miss with suspension.
