West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic has revealed that record signing Andre Ayew is healing very well and should return to the pitch very soon.

Forward Andy Carroll picked up a thigh injury and was out for four months while record signing Andre Ayew got injured on his debut for the country.

The Ghana international is, however, stepping up his recovery and is in line to make a swifter than expected return to the pitch.

Bilic also revealed that apart from Ayew reliable left back Aaron Cresswell was also on his way back to full fitness.

"We have suffered a number of injuries since the start of the season and it will be a big boost to see Aaron Cresswell back in first-team contention.

"We hope that both Diafra Sakho and Andy Carroll will also be back in action in the next few weeks.

"We also need our club record signing Andre Ayew, but he could still be a month away from making a first-team return."
