Accra, Aug. 2, GNA – Chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association, (RFA) Jordan Anagblah was Tuesday retained overwhelmingly during the regional elections.
Anagblah garnered 142 votes against a paltry nine by his contender, Nana Yeboah at the brief ceremony supervised by officials of the Electoral Commission.
Yeboah, who had vowed to end the reign of the incumbent chairman, was forced to swallow his words after failing to convince delegates to unseat Anagblah.
Anagblah with his success will thus serve on the Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association for the next four years.
He served as Chairman of the Black Satellites Management Committee that conquered the world in 2009.
The Tudu Mighty Jets Chairman becomes the fourth RFA Chairman to be re-elected in the ongoing elections after Alhaji Adam Munkaila, Alhaji Yahaya and Osei Tutu Agyemang of the Northern, Upper West and Ashanti Regions respectively.
