Amoah Top Scorer in Dutch League

Matthew Amoah jumped to the top of the Dutch Eredivise scoring chart with a brace on Saturday that helped NAC Breda to second place.

Amoah scored twice and made one as NAC inflicted Hereenven's first loss of the campaign with a 4-2 win.

First he set up Anthony Lurling to make it 2-0 for NAC before he struck twice before the break to give his sided a 4-1 advantage at half time one with a header and the other with a right footed shot.

The brace took his tally this season in the Dutch top flight to six goals in four league games and his season's total to seven goals in five games after his strike in the Dutch Cup in midweek.

Amoah struggled for form during his spell with Borussia Dortmund in the German Bundesliga but is back in the goals in Holland where he previously made his name with Vittese Arnheim.
