Amidaus sign $15,000 sponsorship deal

Ghana Premier League debutants Amidaus Professionals have signed a 30,000 Ghana cedis (US$ 15,000) sponsorship deal with UT Bank, MTNFootball.com can exclusively reveal.
The three-month deal will run out at the end of the 2012/2013 season.
“The CEO of the bank Kofi Amoabeng said his friend in the United States of America told him about us and so he enquired about us to sponsor us,” the club’s Director of Operations Sherif Sulley told MTNFootball.com
“Luckily for us, our boss does business with the bank so it was easier for the deal to happen.
“We just went to brand our jerseys and flags because we are suppose to advertise the bank.”
Amidaus have had an explosive first season and garnered descent results having drew with giants Kotoko and Hearts.
The Tema-based side also beat former champions Berekum Chelsea away.
Amidaus are fifth on the Ghana Premier League table and have the leading scorer Yahaya Mohammed in their fold.
