Dreams FC coach, Charles Kwabena Akunnor blamed his midfield for his side’s defeat to Kumasi Asante Kotoko last Wednesday.

Dauda Mohammed scored what seemed to be the fastest goal in the league, after 10 seconds, and neither side could score again in the entire game.

And C.K Akunnor as the former Black Stars skipper is affectionately called, said his midfield was not industrious enough to match the might of Kotoko.

“We made some mistakes and we will ensure we address that before the next game. I must say we lost the game from midfield. The midfield was a bit weak, they didn’t play as they always do,” C.K Akunnor said.

“We cant win every match and we are aware of that, we are a young side coming up. We will turn our focus to the next game.

“We had very good and clear opportunities to win the match to help us maintain our consistency, but unfortunately we lost and we can’t do anything about it.

“We have a match on Sunday and we have few days to prepare for that match and it will be important for us to go and organize ourselves and build up the momentum in order not to lose our focus” he added.
