Ghana football has become topical in Ghana following Anas’ ‘Number 12’. The government has dissolved the Ghana Football Association following that exposé.

“I have said it and I will say it again; football and politics cannot work. This is all I can say for now but for sure football and politics is a no,” Gyan is reported to have said. His comments seemingly come on the heels of Anas’ latest exposé, ‘Number 12’, which has rocked the football sector in Ghana.

Anas brought out many corrupt and shady deals by some officials of the Ghana Football Association. The former president of the GFA, Kwesi Nyantakyi, was caught in the investigative piece allegedly accepting bribe.

His comment could also mean that he is not excited about the resignation of Kwesi Nyantayi, and also the dissolving of the GFA board. Asamoah Gyan has been in the news lately commenting on some happenings at the ongoing World Cup.

Asamoah Gyan rubbished claims by many football enthusiasts that Cristiano Ronaldo has made history at the World Cup by being a higher scorer than him. According to Gyan, he is the one with the record, not Ronaldo.
