Kumasi Asante Kotoko defender, Abeiku Ainooson has refuted rumours that he advised Joel Fameyeh, against signing for Accra Hearts of Oak.

Ainooson who has denied, speaking to any journalist, posted on his Facebook wall "His joy is to play football and give his all to Kotoko. I do not remember being an agent or a manager to convince players not to play for Hearts of Oak or Kotoko. Why will some journalist want to destroy my image with words that i haven't said. This is not the first time this so-called himself journalist Odeneho Stevenson has written false stories about me. But i have nothing to say but to leave all. I never said all these and will never say such things"

Both Kotoko and Hears are on the transfer market in search of quality players to beef up the squad for the coming season.

Reports are rife that both Hearts and Kotoko are chasing the signature of Joel Fameye, who served 28 goals last season for division one side, Asokwa Deportivo.
