Agbeko to fight Juanito Rubillar on May 16

Ghanaian boxer and former IBF Bantamweight champion, Joseph Agbeko, will mount the ring on May 16 against Juanito Rubillar, Sportscrusader.com can exclusively reveal.

The 10 rounder is a warm up fight for the IBF Former Champion ahead of a potential world title fight in September this year.

Agbeko, who is currently training with Coach Odaquaye in the United States of America, will use this fight to propel himself for a crack again at the world title.

The May 16 bout, according to the Public Relations Officer of Agbeko, Ebenezer Noye, will take place at the Southwest University Event Center El Paso, Texas, United States of America.

“Yes the bout is confirmed and Agbeko will be fighting on the 16th of May in Texas, he is currently being trained by coach Odaquaye and we are hopeful that he will come on top at the end of the fight”.

Sources close to Sportscrusader.com have hinted that National amateur coach Ofori Asare, who is the trainer of Joseph Agbeko, will be leaving soon to the United States to intensify Agbeko’s training ahead of the bout against Juanito Rubillar on the 16th of May.
