After Namibia draw, Sellas Tetteh plans for Gabon

Sellas Tetteh set his sights on Ghana’s next assignment against Gabon in the qualifying for the African Youth Championship after watching his side draw 1-1 with Namibia’s U23 team on Sunday in a friendly.

The Black Satellites had to come from behind to draw level at the Accra Stadium ahead of next weekend’s first leg continental qualifier at home.

Jagu Gomez put the visitors ahead after 23 minutes but Ghana’s U20 team restored parity eight minutes after the opener when Prosper Kassim scored the equalizer.

The second half produced goal moments for either side but both teams could not hit the back of the net.

Tetteh says his biggest challenge is the final round of the African qualifier as the winner of the two-leg tie will advance to the finals to be staged by Senegal.

Ghana will host the first leg will on 17 August at the Accra Stadium with the return scheduled for 29-30 August.
