Afriyie Acquah battling minor thigh injury

Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah is battling a minor thigh injury which saw him miss last Sunday’s 2-1 win at Inter Milan in the Serie A.

GHANASoccernet.com understands Acquah has a muscular problem and has been doing personalized training.

The Ghana international returned from last week’s international break with the problem after playing two matches in four days.

Acquah featured full 90 minutes in the double-header against Mozambique in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifies.

But the battling midfielder should be fit for Sunday’s home match against Atalanta.
