African Origin Secures Lufthansa for South Korea-Ghana game

Travel and tour giants, African Origin, has reached an agreement with German airline, Lufthansa, to air-lift Ghanaian soccer fans interested in trekking to South Korea to watch the international friendly between South Korea’s senior soccer side and Ghana’s Black Stars slated for South Korea on June 7 2011. According to Samson Deen, CEO of African Origins, whose outfit has been accredited by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) as official travel agent for the game. Lufthansa will also air-lift players and technical team of Black Stars as well as GFA officials for the South Korea game.

The last two meetings involving the two sides has seen Ghana triumph twice over her opponent. In their first friendly match played at Edinburgh, Scotland, ahead of the Germany FIFA World Cup in 2006, the Stars beat South Korea 3-1 and also recorded a similar score line in another friendly at Seoul after the World Cup.

Currently ranked 31st on the latest FIFA ranking, the Koreans who would be led by Manchester United star J.S Park, will seek to redeem their image as they cannot afford a third straight loss in their third meeting with the Stars.Mr. Samson Deen, the C.E.O of African Origin Travel & Tours disclosed that his company got the nod from GFA following the success chalked during the Ghana - England friendly in March this year. He added that his company is working around the clock to ensure smooth travel and ticketing arrangements in this friendly match as well.

Lufthansa airlines will begin air-lifting officials and soccer fans for the Korea friendly from June 4th and 5th. The fans and officials will be expected to make their return trip to Ghana on 9th and 10th of June 2011.
