African Hockey Federation organises seminar for Journalists

Accra, June 22, GNA - The Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the Hockey Africa Cup for Nations, Ghana 2009 in collaboration with the African Hockey Federation (AfHF) will host a one-day Technical Seminar for Sports Journalists.

The seminar billed for the Ohene Djan Stadium's Media Centre, Accra on Monday, June 29 is aimed at equipping journalists with the right terminologies for the competition that spans July 10-18. The seminar will offer participants the platform to update their knowledge on the rules and regulations for both the game of hockey and on the tournament.

Sports journalists scheduled to provide coverage for the tourney are expected to register at the LOC Secretariat, #27 Ringway Crescent, Ringway Estate, Osu - Accra latest by close of day, Friday, 26th June, 2009.

All sports journalists who participate in the Hockey Technical Seminar will also be accredited for the formal commissioning of the new National Hockey Stadium on Friday, 3rd July 2009.
