Former Ghana Premier League champions Aduana Stars could be hit out by a strike as players have threatened to boycott the second match of the GHALCA G6 over unpaid salaries.

It is reported that the Dormaa-based club is owing the playing body for three months and the players are perturbed over the situation and are threatening to shun the matchday two fixture against Medeama SC tomorrow in the G6.

According to one of the players [ name withheld], “We have not been paid for three months, and none of the management members is talking to us about it.”

“Some of us have planned to leave the camping base until management fulfils their duty.”

“My brother, it’s sad to play with your heart for a Ghanaian club because when it comes to payment of salary, then it turns a problem.”

“If they want to see us playing well in our next game, they should pay us before tomorrow.”
