Chief Executive Officer of Aduana Stars, Albert Commey, claims they feel defrauded by Malik Akowuah who signed for Hearts last week.
Akowuah joined Hearts from Medeama for a fee reported to be in the region of Ghs70,000.
According to Commey, Aduana were set to hijack Akowuah’s move to hearts, after meetings were held between both parties in order to lure him away from the Phobia club.
He said: “The player approached us claiming he was in difficulty and needed help, so we accordingly helped him in order to secure a deal for him.
“I personally signed a cheque for him, which was certainly not for transportation, so he should do well to return the money or else we will report the matter to the Police.”
The 29-year-old player, in recent times, has dominated the transfer news ahead of the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League season.
