Aduana Stars players are left in the dark as to when to resume training after they were given some time off following the current situation of Ghana football.

The Ogya Boys were given a month break after they were painfully bundled out of the CAF Confederation Cup group stages last season.

Recent reports were that the team was regrouping ahead of the Special Competition which was expected to be played by the 16 Premier League clubs and the 48 Division One clubs.

But after the competition failed to see the light of day, players of the Ghana Premier League champions are left in the dark as to when they will regroup.

Speaking to Footballmadeinghana.com, some of the players who pleaded anonymity expressed worry over the situation.

“I can’t tell when we are resuming. We are still waiting for the management to call us. For now I can’t say anything,” a player disclosed.

“I don’t know when we really starting training. Management told us they will appoint a new coach by the end of the week so that we can start training,” he added.

The club is expected to participate in the upcoming Betway tournaments in Obuasi over the weekend.
