Aduana Stars gave me a Nokia phone as signing on fee – Kingsley Nteng

Ebusua Dwarfs defender, Kingsley Nteng has disclosed that, he received a Nokia phone and Radio tape as signing on bonus when he joined Aduana Stars.

Nteng was one of the players who helped the Dormaa-based side secure qualification to the Ghana Premier League in 2009.

Speaking to Space FM, Nteng revealed that he was filled with joy to have received the items because it was scares to come by in town.

“I was given tape and Nokia 3310 phone to play for Aduana Stars and I was filled with joy because it wasn’t common to get a mobile phone at that time and I still have the tape in my room.”

He added,“at the beginning of the season the chairman will call you that we are going for preseason and at the period I was just playing since I was young and never thought of any signing on fee. I was just happy to be part of the team.”

Kingsley Nteng has played for some Ghana Premier League clubs including Liberty Professionals and Kotoko.
