Aduana Stars have explained their reason for not allowing StarTimes to telecast their match-day 18 League fixture against Kotoko.

Officials of the broadcast right holders (StarTimes) were prevented from showing the game at the Nana Gyeabour Park in Dormaa.

According to the former Ghana Champions, the match was not scheduled to be shown live hence the Premier League Board pleaded with them to allow the game to be telecast to the public.

Despite condemning the action of their supporters for not allowing the StarTimes crew entrance to the stadium, the Dormaa Club claim their decision to prevent StarTimes and their partners GBC was legitimate.

Meanwhile the Premier League Board is expected to take the necessary action against Aduana Stars after StarTimes allegedly reported the issue to the Disciplinary Committee of the FA.

A press statement by the Club is attached below
