Ghana midfielder Enock Adu Kofi has disclosed that his Swedish side Malmo FF can qualify for the next stage of the UEFA Champions League competition after recording their first group win.

The Ghanaian aided the Swedish champions to a 1-0 home win over Shaktar Donetsk on Wednesday night and had insisted that they will qualify to the n3xt stage of the competition.

In an exclusive interview with GHANAsoccernet.com Adu Kofi maintained that the win has really gingered the team to move on for the group qualification and they are poised for it.

“It was great game. They were trying to to get a goal but we tried to hold them and we were very concentrated. The win will really help us,” Adu Kofi said.

“We are very hopeful of the qualification. We have always maintained that it is a very difficult group but we are bent on qualifying.”

“We now have three more matches to play. The playing body is ready to puck all the maximum points to move to the next stage,” he concluded.

Adu, 25 has been in top form for the Swedish giants guiding them to the Allsvenskan title last year as well as putting up a magnificent display in the UEFA Champions league.
