Adiyiah in talks with Arsenal over deal

Ghana striker Dominic Adiyiah is in talks with Arsenal Kiev to make his loan deal permanent, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 22-year-old was farmed out to the Ukrainian giants by his parent club AC Milan after he cancelled his contract with Turkish side Karsyaka over unpaid wages and lack of playing time.

Officials of the Kiev-based side are keen to tie the striker down to a permanent deal in time before they embark on a training tour of Cyprus.

“We have received a proposal from AC Milan for Adiyiah to make a permanent switch to Arsenal Kiev,” local manager Desmond Frimpong-Manso told GHANAsoccernet.com

“Officials of the club (Arsenal) are serious about tying him down. But at the moment there are many offers on the table and so we want to weigh our options to see the best one for him.

“I am happy with the way he is beginning to put his critics to sleep with fine performances for both club and country.

“I believe this is the beginning of good things to come for the young man. The sky will be the limit for him.

Adiyiah has rediscovered his form for the Black Stars after he netted twice in the country’s 7-0 mauling of Lesotho in a 2014 World Cup qualifier on June 1.

He is expected to be a big hit for the European outfit if the deal is concretized

He has previously played for Fredrikstad, Reggina and Partizan Belgrade.
