Accra Lions FC appoint new asst coach and head of scouting

Division One League side Accra Lions FC have strengthened their technical team with the appointment of assistant coach Nuru Yakubu and Paul Goodrich as head of scouting.

Yakubu, an ex-footballer, previously worked with Division Two side Madina Republicans as coach,

Goodrich has more than two decades of experience working in West Africa.

The American citizen has in the past been affiliated with clubs in Senegal and Togo.

Accra Lion FC Sporting Director Rainer Kraft said: ''Nuru and Paul will be great additions to our technical staff as we continue to put together a team that develops the club further in many aspects.

''We are excited to welcome Nuru and Paul to Accra Lions Football Club and look forward to seeing their impact on our squad.''
