Accra Hearts of Oak sign young striker Kojo Obeng Jnr on loan

Accra Hearts of Oak have signed Nea Salamina striker Kojo Obeng Junior on a short-term loan.

The young attacker agreed to join the Ghanaian giants after signing a deal with Latvian side Spartak Jurmala but wants to gain some experience before moving permanently in the summer.

Accra Hearts of Oak are beefing up their attack following the departures of last season's top scorers Thomas Abbey and Kwame Kizito.

The Phobians have brought in Joseph Esso and promoted Selassie Bakai.

Meanwhile, Kojo Obeng Junior confirmed his short move to Accra Hearts of Oak saying it is now a done deal.

"It's true. All is now sealed and I will be wearing the Rainbow jerseys very soon," Obeng Junior told Kickgh.com.

"I will join Spartaks Jurmala in summer. Officials of Hearts of Oak spoke to me before I left to sign for Spartaks Jurmala."

"For now is a done deal because Hearts of Oak have reached an agreement with Spartaks Jurmala."

Accra Hearts of Oak are expected to announce the signing of the youngster in the coming days.

Obeng Junior bagged thirteen (13) goals for Nea Salamina in Division One League and three goals in the MTN FA Cup.
