Accam strikes 17th league goal for Helsingborg

Ghana attacker David Accam scored his 17th goal of the season on Monday night for Helsingborg in their 2-1 win over Åtvidaberg in the Swedish Allsvenskan.

The 23-year-old powered Helsingborg into the lead with a 23rd minute strike but the visitors equalised before Gudlaugur Palsson won the match for Helsingborg with a 37th minute goal.

Accam has been in a sensational scoring form for Helsingborg and his goal on Monday night has put him just two goals behind leading scorer Lasse Vibes (19).

He is in the Ghana squad that will face Guinea in the 2015 AFCON qualifiers in a fortnight time.
