The Ghana international talks about his most outstanding year in Major League Soccer
Chicago Fire attacker David Accam says the 2017 Major League Soccer campaign has been his best season since joining the club in 2015.

In what looks like his last year with the Men in Red, the Ghanaian made 31 league appearances involving 25 starts.

His goal tally was even more impressive as he raked in 14 goals, five and four strikes more than he registered in 2016 and 2015 respectively.

“For me, it was a good season, everything went well,” Accam said on TV3.

“I will say this season has been my best at Chicago Fire.

“Yes, I did well last season but my performance this season was great, scoring goals and making assists.

“It has been a wonderful season for me and my club and I am very happy for that.”

Despite his landmark goal haul, Accam missed out on Fire's Player of the Season award.

Interestingly, he successively won the accolade in 2015 and 2016.
