Ghana attacker David Accam is confident Helsingborg IF are on course to lifting themselves up from the bottom half of the table after arresting their losing streak with victory over Mjällby on Sunday.
The 23-year-old bagged a brace as the Reds ended their two-game miserable run by hammering bottom-placed Mjällby 3-1 at the Olympia.
Helsingborg, who have reached the semis of the Swedish Cup are under-performing in the league and occupying 11th spot on the table.
But on Sunday when Mjällby visited, the Ghana international raked two goals and inspired his side to victory over the visitors and is confident they would rise to a respectable place on the log.
“It’s good to win after losing two games in a row,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
“I’m feeling really great that I’m scoring crucial goals from the wings position,” he added.
Accam’s season tally has been impressive so far as he has netted 9 times in 11 games in all competitions.
