Abedi Pele leads climate change ambassadors

Ghanaian and African soccer legend, Abedi Ayew Pele, is leading a delegation of World football stars as they offer their support to the fight against climate change at the tent village of Bab Ighli, Morroco.

World stars, including Rene Higuita of Colombia and Noureddine Naybet of Morocco, are partaking in the 22nd session of the Conference of the Parties and the 12th session of the Conference of the Parties in Morocco.

Abedi Pele, in speech, highlighted the role that sports stars have to play to promote noble causes such as the fight against climate change, insisting that Morocco is making significant efforts by hosting an event of such importance.

Higuita, the famous Colombian goalkeeper, said humanity must unite to act against this phenomenon that affects all countries across the globe.
