ACP Lydia Donkor appointed as chairperson of Police Ladies FC

Director for Legal and Prosecution of the Ghana Police Service in Greater Accra, ACP Lydia Donkor, has been appointed by the Ghana Police Service as the chairperson of their women’s football team.

The appointment letter sighted by Happyghana.com tasks the new chairperson to help the club win laurels in this year’s Women’s Premier League and FA Cup.

Miss Lydia Donkor is a devout football fan of Police Ladies FC and Accra Hearts Of Oak. She never misses Police Ladies matches as she is always seen in the stands cheering her ladies on to victory.

Police Ladies FC are 3rd on the Southern Zone League table with 10 points.

They will take on Samaria Ladies Football Academy on Saturday at the McDan La Town which marks the end of the first round of the women’s premier league.
