7 bouts at "The Night of the Titans"

ARTHUR Don International Promotions will set the boxing wheel for the year running aloud at the Trade Fair Site, La, on Saturday with a show dubbed “The Night of the Titans”.

The long-awaited explosive seven-bout package will feature some of the promising boxers this nation currently boasts of.

The night’s programme will also be graced by the legendary Emmanuel “Manny” Steward, a renowned boxing coach and Dean Powell, as well as the Ghanaian members of the Lennox Lewis great winning team.

As a special feature, the guests of honour, Emmanuel Steward and Dean Powell, will use the occasion to clinically assist the various boxers and their handlers in their corners during fights to demonstrate the needed professionalism and technical skills required to support and counsel boxers while in the ring to bring out the best results.

The main card on the bill will be a 10-round international middleweight challenge contest involving James Toney and Ganyu Bello of Nigeria.

Charles “Crusader” Adamu will battle James Akakpo in a super middleweight eight-rounder while Josuah Okine encounters Alarapi Akeem in an eight-round welterweight contest.

Brimah Kamoko, alias Bukom Banku fights Joseph Addo in a 10-round catchweight bout, with national and West Africa bantamweight champion, Anyetei Laryea engaging in a fierce brawl with Samuel Danso over eight rounds.
