THE Professional League Board (PLB) has reminded six premier league clubs who were fined for various offences in the first round to pay up before the commencement of the second round on Sunday, July 21.

A release signed by the vice-chairman of the PLB, Mr W. Abra-Appiah, warned that clubs which defaulted in payment of the fines will be disqualified from playing their matches.

The affected clubs include Arsenals ? ?1.3m, Mine Stars ? ?400,000, Power FC ? ?200,000, B. A. United ? ?500,000, Okwawu United ? ?200,000 and Kotoko ? ?500,000.

The release noted that Accra Hearts of Oak and King Faisal have paid their respective fines.

The PLB also urged all premier league clubs to forward 10 copies each of their two registered jersey colours pictorially to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) by Tuesday, July 16.

It stressed that only those two jerseys will be recognised during matches organised by the PLB.

The PLB also drew the attention of players, officials and clubs to the fact that it is an offence to pour any concoction on the field of play. Meanwhile, the first six league matches of the second round have been resheduled by the PLB.

According to the new programme, the 16th to 21st week matches will be honoured on July 21, 24 and 28, August 4, 11 and 14 respectively.

However, the remaining second round programme remains the same.

The PLB therefore, appealed to the football-loving public, officials and players to join forces with them to make the second round a great success.
