Exactly thirty-one day's time the FIFA U-20 tournament will kick off in New Zealand, where the host nation, (NZ) welcomes Ukraine to the Auckland's North Harbour Stadium on Sunday, May 30.
The New Zealand government has invested a hooping sum of $5.5 million to the tournament, which will be telecast to around 100 countries with a television audience of 170 million.
The tournament, which is regarded as a breeding ground for future talents has produced world stars like; Ronaldinho Gaucho, Michael Owen, Lionel Messi and recently Paul Pogba.
52 matches will be played in Whangarei, Auckland, Hamilton, New Plymouth, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin.
New Zealand has successfully hosted the Cricket World Cup and Rugby World Cup and would like to boost its reputation for hosting major international tournament.
