An Accra High Court on Monday dismissed a request from Roy Arthur seeking to place an injunction on the upcoming GFA elections.

Mr. Arthur is one of the aspirants vying to contest for the chairmanship position for the Central Regional FA but was disqualified after the vetting process.

The aggrieved football administrator proceeded to file a motion in court last Friday to stop the elections which is supposed to start this week.

However, his Lawyer Kwame Quayson reportedly failed to appear before court when the case was called in a dramatic turn of events today.

As a result, the High Court has nullified and dismissed the case.

Following the dismissal of the case, the road have been paved for the RFA’s elections fixed for October 18, 2019.
