2019 Black Meteors worst team ever - Sammy Kuffour

Ex-Ghana International Samuel Osei Kuffour has described the current Black Meteors team as the worst ever.

The former Bayern Munich Star is unimpressed with the performance of Coach Ibrahim Tanko’s side at the 2019 Africa U23 Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Ghana could not end a 15-year wait to make an appearance at the Olympics games after finishing fourth at the Cup of Nations losing in the third place playoffs.

Kuffour has lashed out at the team for their uninspiring performance.

“For me I think this u23 team is the worse we have ever had,” he said at the Bundesliga legends tour interaction with the media.

“They played as if there was nothing at stake and it is very worrying.

Ghana’s failure to make it to Tokyo 2020 prolongs the country’s wait for an Olympic Games appearance since 2004.
