Defending champions Ashiaman rose to the occasion to rule the rest of the Zongos in the Accra Metropolis following their successful defence of the Sheikh Sharubutu Ramadan Cup.
Inspired by former AshGold and Raja Casablanca striker Yakubu Mohammed, Ashiaman lifted the trophy by beating Sabon Zongo 3-2 on penalties.
Sabon Zongo had the luck of the competition progressing to the finals following their emergence as the best loser in the quarter finals.
They had earlier enjoyed a walk over as Nima failed to show up in the competition for their first match.
They ended up beating Maamobi by a lone goal to book a final berth with eventual winners Ashiaman who had beaten New Town 3-1 in the semi finals.
For their package, Ashiaman took home a trophy, an amount of GHC800 as had been promised at the beginning of the competition while the runner up took home a trophy and a cash prize of GHC500.
As part of the package for the competition, educational equipment will be provided for all the participating communities.
Striker Yakubu Mohammed emerged the goal king with three goals and an assist pushing aside Yusif Abdul Aziz who had also registered three goals.
Sabon Zongo's Richard Sosu emerged the competition's best player while their goalie Issaka Abdallah won the best goalkeeper award.
Ashiaman have shown supremacy over the other teams for winning both the first and second editions of the competition.
