Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu says the Black Stars are not underdogs at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Ghana, four-time African Champions, who will be making a third successive appearance at football’s biggest tournament, are in Group G where they must shrug off the challenge of European Giants Germany, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal and Jurgen Klismann’s United States.
Many football experts have predicted that Ghana will not qualify from this group, but the Udinese midfielder says the Black Stars will not be push-overs at the 2014 World Cup.
“I know people have doubts about our ability in the group just because we are coming against some of the best sides in the World, but trust me they are also afraid of us.”
Badu will be making his debut appearance for the Stars after been left out in 2010 due to injury.
