200 kids for Kidtech tennis clinic

Accra, July 19, GNA - Over 200 children will gather later this month to participate in this year's kidtech tennis clinic. The clinic slated for the Accra Sports Stadium's tennis courts from July 28 through to August 11 is in its third year.

The annual program pieced together by ex- national star, Zinabu Akotoh is aimed at taking children off the streets during vacation and equipping them with basic tennis skills that will span over two weeks. The clinic designed for children between the ages of 6-14, according to Mrs Akotoh, who is Chairperson for the Greater Accra Tennis Association will have 12 qualified coaches imparting tennis knowledge to the children.

She told GNA Sports a tournament will climax the two-week clinic, which she said will have participants win very attractive prizes and other rewards reserved for exceptional performers.

The clinic which enjoys supports from Vodafon, according to the organizer will ensure that participants will have a blissful time that will develop and enhance their interest in the discipline.
