T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School sprinter Aisha Jaffar, popularly known as Odo Broni, delivered a standout performance at the 2026 MTN Making of Champions competition in Nigeria, announcing herself on the regional stage with a new personal best in the women’s 100m.

Competing in the U20 category, Jaffar showed steady progression from the preliminary heats into the semi-finals. In the opening round, she clocked 11.84 seconds to finish second in her heat, a result that secured her place among the competition’s top young sprinters.

With momentum on her side, the Ghanaian returned to the track for the semi-finals, determined to push further.

Lined up against a strong field, Jaffar produced her fastest run yet, crossing the line in 11.79 seconds, a new personal best. However, despite the improvement, she finished fourth in Heat 3 and narrowly missed out on a place in the final.
