The squad received a major boost with the arrival of Thomas Partey and Iñaki Williams, who joined the team in Cardiff on Saturday morning before immediately participating in the training session.

Head coach Carlos Queiroz supervised the session as Ghana stepped up preparations for what will be their final friendly match before the World Cup tournament.

Among the players involved were Jordan Ayew, Ernest Nuamah, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Benjamin Asare, Brandon Thomas-Asante, and Baba Rahman.

The Black Stars will take on Wales at the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday, June 2, with kick-off scheduled for 6:45 p.m.

The encounter will serve as a crucial test for Ghana ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where the four-time African champions have been drawn in Group L alongside England, Croatia, and Panama.

With key players now arriving in camp and preparations gathering momentum, the Black Stars will be aiming to fine-tune their squad before embarking on their World Cup campaign.
