The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has reportedly concluded interviews with three high profile shortlisted candidates for the vacant Black Stars head coach position.
The GFA is currently racing against time to find a new suitor for the Black Stars after parting ways with coach Otto Addo following a string of bad results ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
According to reports in the local traditional media, the interview panel met and interviewed the shortlisted candidates on Monday, April 6, 2026.
The shortlisted candidates are believed to include several high-profile coaches who once coaches top countries at the FIFA World Cup.
Portuguese managers, Carlos Queiroz, Paulo Bento, and Fernando Santos are the three frontrunners for the Black Stars job and the Executive Council of the GFA will decide on who will get the job amongst the aforementioned on Friday, April 10, 2026.
