The club indicated that it was a mutual decision that was taken for the betterment of the team considering the previaling circumstances.
"The Club has taken the decision to make a change in the Men’s Head Coach position and Thomas Frank will leave today. Thomas was appointed in June 2025, and we have been determined to give him the time and support needed to build for the future together.
"However, results and performances have led the Board to conclude that a change at this point in the season is necessary. Throughout his time at the Club, Thomas has conducted himself with unwavering commitment, giving everything in his efforts to move the Club forward. We would like to thank him for his contribution and wish him every success in the future," Tottenham wrote on their official X page.
The poor results have left Spurs 16th in the Premier League, just five points above the drop zone, following an eight-game winless streak.
The 52-year-old, who joined from Brentford in June 2025, started strongly with six wins in the first 16 league games and a solid Champions League run.
However, injuries to key players such as Kudus Mohammed, James Maddison, and Dejan Kulusevski derailed the season.
After 26 matches, Spurs are battling relegation, sitting 16th in the league table with 29 points.
