My letter to the president of the republic of Ghana.

Dear Mr. President,
I deem it a great privilege to cease this opportunity to officially congratulate you as the elected president of Ghana in a keenly contested 2012 elections.
Your illustrious leadership has proven once again that, Ghana continue to be a pace setter in democracy in Africa and the world at large.
I also want to commend you Mr. President for giving the youth the opportunity to take up with leadership positions in your ministerial nominations to serve mother Ghana as well as all inclusive governance system irrespective of political affiliation.
Your Excellency I have been watching with an eagle eye on the kind of people you nominate to work with and what comes to mind is competence and the believe in “can do spirit” of our capable youth and women.
Your Excellency the incessant branding of the recent list of deputy ministerial appointees as “job for the boys”, sexism, or moral laxity grounds on the part of some female appointees instead of unleashing leadership potentials is unfortunate, suicidal and to borrow your word Mr. President misplaced.
Many are the qualms and disparage of these political pundits and institutions but most Ghanaians have no doubt in our minds that the blending of the old brains and the capable youth would definitely see the realization of the Better Ghana Agenda.
Secondly they have also failed to realize that experience comes right on the job. I do not think the likes of Ursula Owusu, Kennedy Aygapong, Maxwell Kofi Dwuma whom I find difficult in addressing as honorable, former chief of staff Mr. Kojo Impiani and a section of the New Patriotic Party is the ability and competence of looting state coffers.
There is nothing more dangerous in building a society than those reckless frivolous statements from such selfish “expertees in appointment” and institutions such as ISODEC and IMANI.
Your Excellency, my in-depth investigation and analysis has proven that each of the nominees has distinguished themselves in terms of academics, professional experience and self development to assist their sector ministers to deliver the Better Ghana Agenda.
Moreover, it is a high time we begin to think as Ghanaians with a nationalistic agenda irrespective of our diversity instead of the unnecessary criticism that continue to weave into our political fabric leading to polarization of issues and policies that will rather enhance the standard of living of the citizenry.
To my fortunate nominees Chinua Achebe of blessed memory said that “the truest test of integrity is the blatant refusal to be compromised” so the purported integrity deficit in our governance system should be your watch word since a good name is better than riches.
Again, your presence certainly calls for strategic thinking, reinforcement, retooling, extra hard work and not mere accolades.
In view of Martin Luther King jr that our lives begin to end the very moment we begin to keep quiet about issues that matter most I’ve made my opinion known as a concern citizen.

Your Excellency, Ghanaians have absolute confidence in you to continue and achieve the Better Ghana Agenda started under the late president John Evans Atta Mills.
