Did they Jump or they were Pushed…?

Some until now unknown persons have lately been pestering me with questions. They are bothering me about how the mighty ones are falling in their thousands by the side of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama. Many are those enquiring particularly about the Finance Minister, Dr. Kwabena Duffour. They are curious to establish whether John Dramani Mahama pushed him over the precipice, or, he voluntarily jumped the boat. They are posing this question to me for always feeling proud and bragging about the fact that he hails from the same town (Kumawu) as me.

I cannot have any better explanations for the inquirers than that explained in my publication on Ghanaweb on Sunday 13 January 2013, titled "Are the Mighty ones Falling on the Sword of Woyome? (found at http://www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/NewsArchive/artikel.php?ID=261939). He came to serve his nation and people to the best of his ability and intentions. Unlike others, he did not aspire to overstay his welcome. This is the only addition I can make. President Mahama would never have had the balls to sack him if he, Kwabena, had not decided to quit the government on his own volition.

Nevertheless, for people like Alex Segbefia (former Deputy Chief of Staff) and the toady Koku Anyidohu who hilariously desired free sanitary pad for his niece under a future free Senior High School education, will not be allowed time to jump but pushed. President Mahama, who himself has his fate dangling in the balance, will not allow them time to scuttle with their tails tucked in-between their legs like a dog frightened away by a sudden unfamiliar howling noise.

Observing from the fringe, one will give thumps up to President Mahama only on condition that he is not acting on orders by Honourable Alfred Agbesi Woyome, the Swindler of the Century. How many heads are yet to roll? I do not know. I am not interested in knowing since almost all of the NDC government members, both present and immediate past are detestably corrupt. If not so, why would former President Rawlings call them "greedy bastards, evil dwarfs and babies with sharp teeth?"

Will the notorious Kobby Acheampong survive any political hatchet hit by President Mahama? I hope that when President Mahama makes him redundant, he will no longer have that shameless audacity to cause the arrest of police officers when he, Kobby, infracts the law. President Mahama is indeed pushing some of the reckless people far away from his already tainted government - winning elections by fraud.
