Beware Of Vain Promises By The Npp Amissah Athur

AS HE ROUNDS OFF TOUR IN THE BRONG AHAFO REGION CALLING ON PARTY SUPPORTERS TO FOCUS ON VICTORY FOR THE NDC DEC 7

Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah- Arthur on Tuesday urged Ghanaians to discard the bad propaganda against the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and focus on the victory of the party at next week’s general polls.

He called on party supporters to go out there in their numbers and vote massively for the NDC to continue with the good works such as infrastructure development that they have started with. He called on party supporters not to listen to vain promises by the Npp and should not make a mistake to get them in to power which would be a wrong move that would take time for correction so the need to continue with the better Ghana agenda that they have started with .

He also called on the people of Banda to discard rumors that the airport meant for the area is going to be moved to Bole where President Mahama comes from together with the Bui Dam because there is in no iota of truth and just wants to bring disunity in the area

The Vice President, who is also the Running Mate of President John Mahama, Presidential Candidate of the NDC, also threw the caution when he addressed a rally to Banda Ahenkro in the Banda Constituency in the Tain district to round off a three-day campaign tour of the Brong Ahafo Region.

On his part the general secretary of the NDC Mr Asiedu Nketia Addressing party supporters in Banda Ahenkro called on them to reject the NPP outright because they do not have the people in the area at heart

Adding that they were the same people who started that the district status in the area was not necessary but today they still want the people of the are to vote for them , he went on to state that when the people of area take a look at the developmental project the has gone on over the past four years he knows that they would be the best judges

Before that the vice president has called on the various chiefs in Dwenem, Adamsu, Seketia, Suma Ahekro, Sampa and Banda Ahekro on the third day to introduce himself to them and also interact with them to seek their blessing in the upcoming elections. In almost all the place that he visited the chief were full of praise for the NDC party and called on them to continue with it good works
