ADISCO Headmaster And The IMF

The bible story about Joseph being a special child among his siblings could always be misinterpreted by some confused “pastor” who just doesn’t know what to do with his blotted ego. Since the advent of this charlatan called headmaster, Adisco has known no peace. He says the more people refer to him as wicked, the more comfortable he feels, but that is not all, he also dreams and that’s what compares him to the ancient Egyptian Prime Minister Joseph, the son of Jacob.Gen.41:41. Can somebody just listen to Ambrose Bierce? “All are lunatics, but he who can analyze his delusion is called a philosopher”. He ain’t got balls enough to even stick to his initial grasshopper reason for axing his assistant. Now he is saying he wants him to taste all positions. Liar, why didn’t you discuss it with him as you did with the other office holders. We thought you are a man enough. You say God put you there so you don’t kowtow to old boys eh? What was the essence of the meeting with the old boys in the school then? May be, to fool the old boys to believe that they are special. But the main thrust of this piece is to reveal to the teachers and old boys how this charlatan takes them as fools.

Firstly, Brother Joseph told the teachers that his headmastership was ordained by God through the late Headmaster Mr. Ayitey so he even made him sleep at the Acropolis (the headmaster’s residence) so as to get used to the place. But Bra Joseph we all know how you virtually usurped the headmastership from the late Kitson before you were booted out of office as the wrong Senior Housemaster. Was that the fulfillment of that dream? Have you forgotten what happened to you in 1998? Listen to Stephen Kendrick “Almost every sinful action ever committed can be traced back to a selfish motive. It is a trait we hate in other people but dignify in ourselves”

Secondly, he is the “Adiscohene” (Adisco Chief), an ordained one who was crowned by the Oguaa Chief. Eei Adisco, what is happening to you? Lao Tsu says that “Manifest plainness, Embrace Simplicity, Reduce Selfishness and have few desires”.

Thirdly, Old boys in the US invited this man to the US to find out how the school is being managed and learn other strategies from schools in the US to be introduced in Adisco. The headmaster only returned to tell us that he met a man in the US who told him about how special he is to lead Adisco and that he was a blessed man with God’s spirit upon him. To that extent an old boy took him to a car park and asked him to choose a car of his choice which he bought for him. Whoever that old boy is no one knows. Mr. Headmaster, why don’t you give us the name of this kind old boy?

Fourthly, the honorable, Kennedy Agyapong, bought two brand new cars for two former teachers of Adisco for the role they played in his student days at Adisco. He even engraved their names on the car keys but on the day of presentation at the 100th Anniversary the headmaster’s name was rather mentioned as one of the recipient, only for the correction to be made to the embarrassment of the entire Adisco fraternity. We are sure his invitation of Ken Agyapong to be the Guest Speaker in the following year was meant to seek favour from the honorable. Indeed he alluded to this belief when he answered to a question that, we should not be surprised if he was given a car by Ken Agyapong. But Ken is a smart guy, he snubbed him. Perhaps that’s why he recently told his teachers that Ken was his “fag” boy who served him in school yet failed his “O Level” examinations miserably.

The last straw however is the IMF dream. This man never ceases to drum our ears with such dreams. The latest gargantuan dream is that an old boy who he the headmaster (then the senior housemaster) helped to get the opportunity to sweep the then headmaster’s residence and later helped him to become the school prefect (S.P) is now working in the office of the IMF boss herself and now very rich. This man has now come back to pay his dues. He has therefore invited the Headmaster and his family of five to the US for a visit. “Do not consider it proof just because it is written in books, for a liar who will deceive with his tongue will not hesitate to do the same with his pen.” Maimonides.

The first question is this, who is this old boy? We want to know this one. For the teachers and those who have the school at heart, we can confidently deduce from such statements that the headmaster has already secured visas for his family to visit the US and he is only preparing the minds of his teachers so they will not be surprised when he and his family finally leave for the US. The same thing happened when he told his teachers that a parent whom he helped to get his ward into the school got him a first class ticket for his son to travel to the US for his Master’s Program. Can you tell us why the old boys have stopped inviting you to the US? Instead of the best teacher in the school travelling with you to the US, you do so with your wife. What contribution does she make towards the upkeep of this school?

Mr.Selfish Headmaster, can you tell this so- called old boy that there is no street light in the school? When did it become a privilege to sweep the acropolis leading to the purchase of tickets and other benefits? Who is this Ghanaian that even the president will be interested in? Ghana as a whole needs this man. Tell us.

You have hidden behind religion to confuse everybody but listen to what Christopher Hitchens said “We keep on being told that religion, whatever its imperfections, at least instill morality. On every side there is conclusive evidence that the contrary is the case and that faith causes people to be more mean, more selfish, and perhaps above all, more stupid”. Up Santaclausians and stand up to honour.
