The Life Story of Kumawu Murderer Told

Caught in Own Web of Evil -The Life Story of Kumawu Murderer Told

For how long is Kumawu going to be left at the vagaries of murderers and insatiably greedy individuals? This has been the ongoing situation in Kumawu for the greater part of the last century. The current ruinous state of Kumawu tells volume about the deplorable character of the ruling royal family. The dearth of essential development coupled with the galloping scale of dilapidation, the rustiness of the environment, confirms the myopic and nonchalance attitude to duty by the "supposed" Ankaase royal family. The state of Kumawu as it currently is does not necessitate any further holistic investigations into the characters of their ruling royal family as the facts on the ground are too self-evidentiary.

The Kumawu Ankaase royals, currently the ruling royals, are by far and large selfish and possessive. They are holding steadfastly but parasitically onto the Kumawu paramount throne. They have since sneaking themselves into the Kumawu royalty by the mischievous acts of their forebear Yaw Dabo, been acting quite repugnantly. More than enough has been said about their detestable behaviours in my previous write-ups. Any further effort to portray their evilness may be a total waste of time as all is already too obvious to even a foetus.

"False friends are worse than bitter enemies", so an adage goes. Those with whom the murder suspect, one Kwabena Anane, an Ankaase royal, were supposed to be best of friends, have blown the lid off his secretly committed numerous crimes. Until he is found guilty of murder though he has shot one Asihene dead, he will remain a murder suspect in the eyes of the law. Kwabena Anane, a fifty eight year old Kumawu born and bred man killed his love rival on 26th April 2011. He was consumed with jealousy, insanity and possessiveness at the time the murder act was committed. Was the act committed out of a moment of madness? From both circumstantial and direct evidences, the act was well thought through hence, premeditated. He was arraigned before a trial judge on Wednesday, 18th May 2011. His trial could not proceed beyond the words of the judge, "where is your lawyer?" When he said he has no lawyer, the trial was postponed with the judge advising him to secure the services of a State lawyer prior to the next scheduled hearing.

Did Kumawuhemaa, his relative of almost similar dubious character not promise to secure him one of the best Criminal Defence lawyers in Ghana? What is happening now? I am left to scratch my head, lost in thoughts pending a convincing answer. But for your information, Kwabena Anane was said to be emaciated with sunken eyeballs. Is he on hunger strike or the fact of being remanded in prison cell is having its toll on him? Oh, poor boy. This is what you get when you decide to become an "akuraase taa man" where you are a law unto yourself.

This guy is said to have curtailed the life of his once mother-in-law. This mother-in-law in question was said not to be enthused over Kwabena Anane maltreating her daughter, the wife of Mr. Anane. As all incessant persuasions prevailed upon him to behave responsibly fell on deaf ears, she finally caused their separation, divorce, and got the daughter to fly overseas to the "Akwasi buroni land". Mr. Anane never forgave his mother-in-law for the heartbreak she caused him. From his false friends according as highlighted by the adage, Mr. Anane was all the while saying, "I will punish this woman for what she has done to me". Lo and behold, he never hesitated when the opportunity did present itself one sunny Saturday afternoon to execute his longing diabolical plot on her when the mother in question attended a funeral at Kumawu-Apebiakyere. He approached her when he saw her in the street heading home and said, "Mother-in-law, the weather is too hot and you are feeling thirsty, I should think. Come over to my beer parlour to have a bottle of Fanta to quench your thirst". The unsuspecting mother-in-law did accompany her former son-in-law to his "Apatakese ase" bar to drink a bottle of soft drink as proposed. When she returned home that same afternoon, she started complaining of painful stomach cramps. In less than no time, she had given up the ghost. How is this abrupt death explained away if not going by what these false friends are saying? They had all remained silent though privy of Mr. Anane's alleged role vis-à-vis the unexplained sudden death of his mother-in-law until his arrest for killing Asihene.

"Out of sight, out of mind". It is good that he is now incarcerated. He was a complete yob and quite uncivilized. He never travelled away from Kumawu for more than a month to see how life pertains outside his little "Apebiakyere" enclave. He stayed at Kumawu to measure his popularity in terms of the number of beautiful women he slept with and how fiercely able he was to spew out threats to those who crossed his line. I have also heard that he claims to have purchased the pistol with which he executed Asihene because of Kumawu Aduanahene alias "Joe Fry". Was he going to kill Aduanahene for starting the Kumawu chieftaincy dispute that has led to revealing their originality and fake royalty? This guy is a complete nutter, I should think.

Being assertive is better than silent resentment. I am completely against the perpetration of nonsense by whomever. Look at where either a well thought-through evil or a momentary madness has landed Mr. Kwabena Anane. He thought he could kill with impunity as did his elders many years ago. Time has evolved so much so that it does no longer pay to put up a show of stupid audacity. One will always be held accountable for their actions regardless their pedigree. This is a lesson for all those harbouring evil intents against their neighbours. Kwabena Anane will surely go to prison to eat "Bankye". "Ei Auntie Abena, Auntie Abena wo bewe bankye oo! apapaapapo, apapo, apapo, apapoa apapo apapo, heeii! Does this not remind one of the once popular "Yate asem" group that spontaneously sprang up when the late Barima Asumadu Sakyi II embezzled Kumawuman funds?

I will robustly defend the course of justice. Kwabena Anane is at best guilty of manslaughter and at worst of first degree murder. In whichever way it goes, he will be sleeping in bug-infested bed in prison, deprived of the comfort of women, forbidden of his choice of meal and forced to do everything on time as per prison rules. His reputation is tarnished forever. I will advise he muster courage to go through the prison hell or else, he comes out in future a wasted being. One Osei Boateng was sentenced to a prison term along with one Michael in the 1970s for stealing the personal belongings of a White American female tutor of Kumawu Tweneboa Koduah Secondary School. Osei Boateng came out mental because unlike Michael, he was not a big time criminal but an unfortunate one-time thief. He died a few years after his release, having gone completely mad. This is a lesson for Kwabena Anane. He has to be courageous if he does not want to become the late Osei Boateng! Justice for Asihene. Justice for Kumawuman. Justice for Ghana.
