Ghanaians Reject NPP Position On La Cote D'ivoire!

Feature Article, by Nana Akyea Mensah, The Odikro.

A record has been set in the comments section of Myjoyonline.com, where the
first seven comments spontaneously and unanimous voted down the NPP reaction
to the path of quiet diplomacy being pursued by President Atta-Mills.
Earlier on the NPP has been calling on the President to recognize Alhassan
Ouatarra, whose political party is a member of the Democratic Union of
Africa, of which the NPP is currently holding its presidency, and they were
supporting Ouatarra even before the elections.

After remaining silent and vigorously hiding from the press, Akufo-Addo
feels confident to end the highly suspicious silence only to misfire! This
is the first time I have seen in any Ghanaian forum where the first seven
comments are so damning! It is amazing!

The Comments under "Mills’ flippant stance on Ivory Coast a betrayal – Nana
Addo " following a news item in which:

"The flag-bearer of the opposition NPP, Nana Akufo-Addo, says the legendary
inconsistency of the government, particularly President J.E.A. Mills on the
Ivory Coast situation, had a dangerous potential to hurt Ghana’s standing
internationally," received the following record reaction. I call them "The
Big Seven":

Gbagbo postponed elections for 5 good times and what was your stands then??
Have you guys listened to Dr Annin of KAIPKC?? Ghana' stance since 2002 has
never change and that is just what Mills has emphasized.
Please find something else to talk about. The Gathering Of The NPP

at them. Ah these people paaa.

There is this adage in Ga that goes like "that which is not covered, no
housefly perches on it". Those of you whose Korle goes into the sea know
what I mean. I don't expect Jake Obetsebi Lamptey to understand.

NPP thinks Ouattara can give them money for their electioneering campaign so
they are trying so hard to secure the presidency for Ouattara. Take your
bags and go over there and fight.

The French are right there in Ivory Coast. Is our army well equipped than
that of the French? It took just a twinkle of an eye for the French army to
obliterate the Ivorian air force. What are they waiting for? Ok
you are consistent!! Posted By: Joe , 1/20/2011 1:58:11 PM Location:
Germany It is unfortunate that NPP is trying to create a big problem for
Ghana. When Kenya had similar situation what did u do? Please dont try to sow
a seed of confusion and antagonism between the two nations. What u are
hurriedly doing has the propensity of making Ghana to be seen as an enemy of
Outtara for that his supporters and in the event that Outtara finally
assumes the reigns of government he will do everything possible to hurt
Ghana government.
President Mills did not contradict himself.Where is the contradiction? I
will not contribute troops or we should use diplomacy to resolve the issue ?
Please if u want to rule Ghana one day which I know it will never happen,
you ought to be careful with your utterances. Some of us are becoming
incensed with the garbage that u spew out all the time. WHAT DID U
DO WHEN UR OWN BROTHERS WERE KILLED IN GAMBIA, NANA??? Posted By: Jones,
