true’" (Ghanaweb, November 9, 2009)

Whether you beat the castle drums that Ghanaians complain
Whether you didn’t trumpet that Ghanaians complain
We Ghanaians are complaining
You promised to hit the ground flying
But you hit the ground and broke your winds
You have become like the tortoise
Who saw the crocodile cross the Ofin
And boasted that it also had shells and would cross the Ofin
But remains confused and doesn’t know how to cross the Ofin
The tortoise has become the laughing stock of the Ofin River deities
