The Drug Menace: Can Nana Akuffo Addo Please Rise Up And Be Counted?
Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
God is great!
Allah is Almighty!
Now that Nana Akuffo Addo has broken his silence on the drug menace undermining the stability of our still emerging democracy, can he please, in the name of God "honestly, frankly, competently and robustly" address the following pertinent issues which issues seriously call into question his integrity and judgment as a public servant?
In fact, these are simple questions which can and should be dealt with by Nana Akuffo Addo without necessarily consulting his numerous political managers. And the questions are:1. Why didn't he, as the then Attorney General, prosecute those three Djorwulu women who were arrested in February 2002 for trafficking in illicit drugs? We should not forget that these women belong to the NPP party.2. Is it true that he caused to be deconfiscated the assets of his brother-in-law, Mr. Raymond Amankwah, which assets were proceeds from illicit drug activities?AND3. Why did he stop the prosecution of Frank Benneh, an alleged drug dealer? The patriotic campaign to bring real accountability into our public lives continues unabated! And this campaign should defy narrow, malicious partisan politics!Let's boost our democracy with real democratic digits by seriously holding our leaders to account for their stewardship! It is not over, until it is over! We shall surely be back.
