Ghanaians Mourn The Death Of Friend And Brother

The body of Richard Nyarko Benjamin popularly known as Brother Ben, was yesterday October 9, laid to rest after a short church service officiated by Fr. Theo Vlugt in the Latino burial ground at Fanal, a suburb of Beirut. Richard Nyarko died on October 1, after two weeks of complaining of stomachache. His death came as a shock to many members of the Ghanaian community who were hit with the shocking news on the morning of October 2.

Members of the Ghanaian community love ones and well-wishers turn up in their numbers to say farewell.

The Ghanaian Community in Lebanon who in collaboration with the Church of Christ organized the burier, wishes to send their condolence to the family of the late Richard, their thanks to friends and love ones in Lebanon and most especially to the Rainbow Fitness club in Zalka, where the deceased used to work for their love and support. And finally to Fr. Theo Vlugt, SJ, Sr. Lourdes D? Souza, RJM, and Sr. Amelia Asiedu-2 Torres, DC of the Afro-Asian Migrant Center for their willingness and support during the burier.
