Last Group of Ghanaians Granted Special Permit leave Beirut

The Last group of Ghanaians who were permitted to leave Lebanon under a special consideration liaised by the Ghana Consulate in Beirut in collaboration with the Ghanaian Community in Lebanon (GCL) left Beirut yesterday October 6, en-route to Accra.

The departure of the 3 women, Vivian Sheaby, Korsah Dansowah, Hariya Othman and her daughter Naila Othman has closed up the file, which was opened about six months ago to help out those Ghanaians who requested for the assistance.

The Ghanaian Community and the Consulate have both hailed the successful repatriation of those they termed, ?the critically stranded as a major success.
