The JDM Fan Club – UK & Ireland wish to congratulate HE President John Dramani Mahama and Vice President Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur on taking the oath of office to lead the good people of Ghana for the next four years. The investiture of the 6th parliament of the fourth republic cannot also be left unmentioned, for this reason we say congratulations to all the newly sworn in members of parliament. It is our hope that, the new parliament will rise to the occasion in enabling the government deliver the Better Ghana Agenda Phase Two.
The hopes and aspirations of the citizenry can best be achieved when the political system and parties work in good partnership. Hence, it is imperative that our legislators attempt to make all things possible to help the business of governance become more attractive and inspiring. It must be noted that the inauguration marks another milestone in the successful story enjoyed by Ghana’s democratic credential. Indeed, Ghanaians are eager to see that the much needed change desperately required in our body politics would become a reality under the leadership of President Mahama.
The leadership of JDM Fan Club and the entire membership would like to use this occasion to also commend the good people of Ghana for allowing the democratic process to function without any stalemate before, during and after the elections. We hope that, Ghanaians would use the inauguration speech of HE John Dramani Mahama as a starting point in reposing confidence in our political and governance system so that the much desired Better Ghana Agenda becomes a reality.
May God bless HE President John Dramani Mahama and Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur. Long live Ghana and Long live our Democracy.
